Item Details
A vintage hand-painted English Devon Torquay teapot, likely from Watcombe Pottery. It has a painting of a cottage to one side, and the the opposite side is incised through the slip, ‘You may get better cheer – but not with better heart’. Marked to the underside.
Condition
- staining and marks on the lid from stickers or price tags.
- cracking prevalent throughout the pot.
- slight chip on the spout.
