A Cleveland fare box. This vintage metal piece was used to collect bus or trolley fares. It features a metal and glass top with slot for coins. To lower is a green finished cast metal base with hinged door. It is numbered 324 and marked ‘Cleveland Fare Box, Patents Pending Cleveland Ohio’.
