An original oil painting on canvas titled Lord of Night by James Faulkner. The painting depicts a reclining tiger with its head up, surveying his domain from atop a steep hill covered with russet grasses. The painting is signed to the lower right ‘Faulkner’ and is also hand-written to the back by the artist, ‘Lord of Night by James Faulkner – Based on photo by B. Coleman & P. Jackson’. The painting is presented in a stained and gilded wood frame with a hanging wire.
