Transferware Castle and Camel Lidded Dish

Item Details

A transferware castle and camel lidded dish. The dish is ceramic with a blue and white transfer image of castles with palm trees and camels traveling towards a harbor with a boat. The dish is trimmed to the edges with a floral design and has a tapered lid with a finial and scalloped edges and a round bowl with ceramic handles and a circular base. The dish is labeled to the underside ‘Oriental MR’.

Condition

- small chip to bottom and some scuffing to lip of dish
