Vintage Gold Tone Wood and Gesso Frame

Item Details

A vintage wood and gesso frame with a gold tone finish. This piece has a running leaf design in low relief around the outer perimeter, and a ridged cove. There are acanthus leaf motifs to each corner and D-rings to the verso to facilitate hanging.

Condition

- small chips throughout frame; spots of paint loss throughout; stains and discoloration scattered throughout; larger chips along upper left edge and lower right corner; wear and residue to verso.
