Mottahedeh "Our Maritime Heritage" Porcelain Plate Collection
Item Details
A set of porcelain plates by Mottahedeh. These six plates are from the Our Maritime Heritage Collection. The plates depict sailing American ships to the center, featuring the first class ship Yorkshire of New York, the chipper ship Flying Cloud, the U.S. frigate Constitution, the auxiliary packet ship Massachusetts, the American frigate Chesapeak, and the clipper ship Nightingale. Each is marked to the underside by the marker along with the collection name, ship name, and ‘By Permission of the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich’.
Condition
- light discoloration to the undersides.
