A vintage hand knotted Persian Josheghan rug. This rug features a primary crenulated gul medallion in red, eggshell and indigo hues expanding to an allover gul pattern highlighting the field. The major border displays an alternating floral design finished with natural warp fringe. The rug has a tag attached which reads ‘Made in Iran, Hand Woven Carpet and Rugs’.
