Lithograph After an Illustration of Robert Burns
Item Details
A lithograph on paper of an original illustration of Poet Robert Burns (1759-1796). The print depicts the bust of the famous Scottish poet with piercing black eyes. Mounted under brown matting, the print is presented under glass in a black painted wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes and an ink marking reading ‘Andrew Jackson’ are present to the verso of the frame.
Condition
- some overall toning; water damage to the top, right side, and bottom of the mat; frame has slight scrape damage all around.
