A lithograph on paper of an original painting titled I Was There by Belgian portrait artist Florent Willems (1823 – 1905). Titled to the lower margin, the print depicts a man and a woman pointing and reviewing a piece of art mounted on a wall in an interior setting. Mounted under a single layer of beige matting, the print is presented under glass in a dark stained wood frame with a wire present to the verso for hanging purposes.
Condition
- slight toning overall, especially on the name plate; sticker residue upper right; frame has various chips and damage throughout.
