An offset lithograph on paper after ’Malus Communis Forma by botanical artist, Carlos von Riefel. This print depicts a cluster of red apples and leaves on a branch. Inscribed in-plate to the margins are the artist’s name, title and plate number. The print is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a metal hook for hanging and paper backing to the verso.
Condition
- slight surface stain to top left on paper and mat; protective glass would benefit from cleaning; wear throughout frame’s finish; tears to the paper backing to the verso.
