A signed, limited edition offset lithograph on paper titled Well at Butcher Holler by Kentucky based artist Russell May (1921 – 1990), dated 1979. This print depicts a wooden house and a well sitting on a hill side overlooking a small river traveling though the mountainous landscape. The print is signed in plate, signed by hand in graphite, dated, and numbered 471 in an edition of 500, all to the lower left corner. Mounted under a double layer of orange and beige matting, the print is presented under glass in a stained wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes and certificate of authenticity from Heritage Gallery Prints are present to the verso of the frame.
