Antique Victorian Walnut Slant-Front Secretary

Item Details

An antique walnut slant-front secretary. A rectangular top with slanted front opens to reveal dual shallow drawers with round knobs flanking open shelves in this antique secretary. The desk has two pull out supports to either end with dual drawers above cabinet doors which open to a single shelf. The front of the desk has intricate wooden trim to the drawers and cabinet doors. Lion headed ring pulls of brass are found to the front of both drawers, while the cabinet doors have the same trim with decorative round frames to the center. The desk has a carved apron with bracket feet and rests upon brass castors. Desk is unmarked by maker.
