S. Foster Oil Painting on Academy Board of a Winter Landscape

A 1926 oil painting on academy board by S. Foster. This depicts two barren winter trees rising above a snow strewn landscape, with an orange sun low in the sky. It is signed and dated in the bottom right and presented in a black painted wooden frame that is wired for hanging.

- darkening to varnish; scratch to center; scattered areas of paint loss; wear to frame finish; dirty.
