A wooden sculpture by Ronald Cogan titled Convincing Snakes (1992). It features a snake-like creature with arms and legs, bending at the waist as it leans back and looks up towards the sky. The body is decorated with red polka dots on cream tone paint. Fangs jut out from the top of its mouth. A line of vertical words on the torso read: ‘Convincing Snakes as Adam and Eve in the Garden was by a Snake’. The piece rests on a dark green block base, which is hand titled, signed, and dated by the artist.

Condition

- Some cracks in the paint, especially around the arms
