An Egyptian style gouache and gold leaf painting on papyrus by Khed. This stylized piece depicts Akhenaten and his wife and daughter warshipping Aten, the disk of the sun, surrounded by hieroglyphs and symbols. The work is signed to the lower left, and presented under layered mats and glass in a gold tone wood frame with craquelure. Hanging wire is affixed to the verso.
