Korean Gouache Painting on Paper After "Journey to the Mausoleum"
Item Details
A Korean gouache painting on textured paper after a famous work titled Journey to the Mausoleum (陵行圖). This work depicts a group of civilian migrants to the upper section. Below, several rows of figures, some on horseback, are shown marching in military precision. Several inscriptions are printed in black. It is presented under acrylic glass in a wooden frame with gold tone fillet. It is professionally framed with an attached wire to the verso.
Condition
– minor water marks to the paper edges; yellowing consistent with age; minimal marks to the frame.
