Louis XV Style Parlor Chair

A Louis XV style parlor chair. This asymmetrical piece, likely once with a complementing asymmetrical partner, has a partially exposed wooden frame with light tone walnut staining, and is upholstered in a red fabric with cream and tan pastoral scenes allover. The carved crestrail has a fan of curled scrolls, and slopes down to either side; one side curves before sloping straight down, and one side slopes down to an armrest with a row of ellipses carved to the top. The backrest is padded and has diamond patterned button tufting. It has saber block legs to the back and restrained cabriole legs to the front, with curled accent at the knees and line accent down the legs.
