German Drinking Vessels
Item Details
A selection of German drinking vessels. Included is a beer stein with a music box, a smaller lidded stein, and a Hofbrauhaus one liter stoneware mug. The musical stein depicts a tavern scene and carries a legend which translates to, ‘I seek my happiness in forest and meadow.’ It is marked Trink Bruderlein to the underside. The smaller stein is primarily brown and cobalt, with a depiction of a man and woman surrounded by flowers and charming cottages. The Hofbrauhaus mug has a salt glaze finish with cobalt blue glaze HB crown decoration.
Condition
-small marks and scratches throughout.
