Rare Middle Period Weller 1910 "Souevo" Vase

Item Details

A rare middle period Weller Souevo vase, circa 1910, having a bulbous form with incised Native American-style figural and geometric designs in matte black and white over a red stoneware bisqued clay body. It has a glossy standard brown glaze liner glaze on the interior. It is impress marked ‘Weller’ to the underside.

Condition

- to fair; wear consistent with age and use; surface marks, scuffs, and discoloration throughout.
