Gouache Painting on Papyrus of the Holy Family
Item Details
A gouache painting on papyrus. This depicts Mary, Joseph and the infant Christ travelling across an abstract landscape with a donkey, as an angel flies above. It is initialed ‘HH’ in the bottom left and the work is presented mounted to a red painted Masonite board under glass.
Condition
- wear to edges of masonite backing board; painting and papyrus in good condition.
