A lithograph on paper after a 1967 gouache painting by well-listed American Abstract Expressionist Alexander Calder (1898 – 1976). The piece, titled Maelstrom With Blue depicts black and white concentric circles adjacent to a smaller blue amorphous circle, both set against a background of orange and grey. The image is signed and dated in plate to the lower right. It is presented in a silver tone metal frame.
