A 1972 limited edition offset lithograph on paper after a 1945 tempera painting by listed Lithuanian-American artist Bernarda Bryson Shahn (1903 – 2003). The piece, titled Ohio Magic, depicts an early 20th-century yellow bus traversing down a narrow lamplit city street, with bricks from the road extending upward into the blue sky. The print is signed in pen to the lower center and numbered as 134 out of an edition of 300. It is additionally signed in plate to the lower right, with printed notations to the lower margin of ‘Ben Shahn, Ohio Magic, Only 300 copies have been numbered and signed by Bernarda Bryson Shahn, May 1972, California Palace of the Legion of Honor, San Francisco (Williams Collection)’. It is presented under glass in a black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
