This dresser is a gorgeous piece of our featured Widdicomb furniture collection designed by the famous T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings, model 1799. Beautifully constructed of walnut hardwood with original “sherry” finish. Dresser sits atop brass legs and hosts 6 dovetailed drawers with rattan/cane handles capped in brass hardware. Top drawers each include 5 movable dividers as well as 2 sliding accessory trays. Middle drawers also include 4 original dividers to customize use. Dresser top has been preserved by a custom glass top that is included.

Robsjohn-Gibbings can be noted as America’s most famous designer, working with some of the era’s most iconic figures. The design work of T. H. Robsjohn Gibbings is hallmarked as a modern mixture of the classical elements of Ancient Greecian design and of Art Deco period design.In 1943 he came to Grand Rapids, Michigan to design for Widdicomb furniture company until 1956.
