A hand colored lithograph of J. Cameron’s The Champion Trotting Stallion Smuggler. This piece, originally published in 1875 by Currier & Ives, depicts Smuggler, a champion horse owned by H.S. Russell, on the back stretch just prior to winning The Great Stallion Race for the championship of the United States at Mystic Park in Medford, Massachusetts on September 15th, 1874. This hand colored lithograph print is presented framed, matted, and behind glass.
