Vintage Barometer with Wooden Model Sailing Ship
Item Details
A vintage barometer with wooden model sailing ship. Ship features a painted carved wood hull with painted wooden sails and rope rigging. Wood base is a modified pedestal with an OTA barometer dial to the center. Dial is decorated with fancy lettering delineating the areas where ‘Stormy’, ‘Rain’, ‘Change’, ‘Fair’, and ‘Very Dry’ will occur in the barometer reading. The dial is open to the center to reveal the mechanism behind. A brass label inscribed ‘County of Lintithyem 1887’ is affixed to the wood pedestal above the barometer dial.
