A handmade needlepoint area rug. This wool rug features panels with alternating rosette patterns flanked by garland in a palette of olive green, olive taupe, madder red, cadmium yellow, and cream. The rug offers a primary border with a check pattern and is finished with bound seams to the underside. The rug has stray threads on the back from the embroidery process.
