Ornate Footed Storage Box
Item Details
An ornate footed storage box. This wooden chest-shaped box is decorated by hand-applied scrollwork and nailhead trim. The ridged dome lid opens to reveal an interior storage area lined by red painted wood. The box rests on a platform supported by similarly ornamented bracket feet.
Condition
- scuffs and scratches throughout; crack on top of chest; some loss of ornamentation, especially near top; discolored patch on back of chest.
