Elhamy Naguib Offset Lithographs From "Minstrel Folder" Series
Item Details
A collection of six offset lithographs after ink drawings by Elhamy Naguib (Egyptian b. 1944) from his Minstrel Series. Each of the highly stylized black and white images depicts a figure from Islamic literature or history, including St. George, King Solomon, and the Ascension of the Prophet. The unframed prints are signed and dated ‘Elhamy Naguib 1977’ in the plate and include captions in English and Arabic. Each is mounted on masonite and fitted with a wire loop for hanging.
