Sterling Silver and Gemstone Jewelry Featuring Navajo Silversmiths Harvey Mace and Fannie Platero

A group of sterling silver and gemstone jewelry. Among these, is a bypass ring in the form of a feather by Navajo silversmith Harvey Mace, marked ‘H. Mace Sterling.’ Also in a pair of round studs earrings by Navajo Silversmith, Fannie Platero, with mosiac inlay composed of mother of pearl, turquoise, onyx and coral, which is accented by stamped sunray motifs. These are marked, ‘Sterling F’ on verso. Also included, is a small, double-sided cross pendant set with Zuni style petit point turquoise to one side, and coral to the other side. A pair of as oval earrings stamped ‘B Sterling’ with onyx centers and marcasite embellishments, and two chain bracelets complete the selection. Each piece is hallmarked as, or has tested as sterling silver. The total group weight, inclusive of all materials, is 1.440 ozt.
