Antique Oak McCourt Pharmacy Label Cabinet

Item Details

An antique (1908-1912) McCourt oak pharmacy label cabinet. The Model 84 ‘Complete’ cabinet has a rectangular top with a slight overhang, four drawers with brass knob pulls, and a rectangular base. The drawers feature twelve brass dividers for labels and assorted historical label rolls from ‘Black & Cook Pharmacists’ in each drawer. The label to the bottom reads ’For Roll Labels – (?) – McCourt Label Cabinet – Bradford, Pa. – Patented Aug 9, 1904 Jan 9, 1906. The cabinet is finished to all sides.

Condition

- for use and age, condition consistent with use and age having markings to wood surfaces typical with time, drawers are sticky but all in working condition.
