Two East Asian Watercolor, Gouache and Ink Paintings on Silk
Item Details
A set of two East Asian watercolor, gouache and ink illustrations on silk. The works depict similar idyllic mountain landscape scenes accented with small buildings, trees and figures. Each is signed with black calligraphy and a red seal to the upper portion. The paintings are matted in pale grey and presented without glass in metal frames with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- to Fair; some staining present to silk, matting and frames; surface abrasion at top center of one painting; toning to silk and matting of both; minor wear to frames; no protective glass present.
