Gouache on Paper of Prague Castle
Item Details
A gouache painting on paper. This pice is an Impressionist style painting that depicts Prague Castle from across the Vltava river. A line of trees separates the viewer from the buildings on the opposite shoreline, and the sky above is filled with white clouds just touched with the first pink light of dusk. The piece is signed to the lower right corner and appears to read ‘V. Jýwa’. It is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a simple metal bracket for hanging.
