United States Silver Coins
Item Details
A grouping of three silver United States coins. Featured are two Type 1 three cent pieces. One is dated 1852 and the other date is illegible. They have 75% silver composition and weigh 0.8000g. Each measures 14.00 mm in diameter and was designed by James B. Longacre. Mintage for the 1852 coin was 18.66 million. Completing the lot is a ten cent piece dated 1838 from New Orleans mint, with no stars around the rim. It has 90% silver content, weighs 1.3400g and measures 15.50 mm in diameter. This coin was designed by Christian Gobrecht. It had a limited mintage of 70,000.
