This forty-eight star United States flag, which was the official flag of the United States from July 4 1912 until July 3, 1949, features thirteen red and white stripes that signify the thirteen colonies and a blue field with forty-eight white stars, one for each state of the union at that time. The flag is labeled ‘Sterling all wool double warp bunting’ to one edge.
