This Impressionist painting depicts two fishing boats docked near wooden shacks situated on a pier, which overlooks a calm body of water beneath a gloomy, yet slightly illuminated sky. To the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded scroll patterning to the surface and a linen inner border. To the verso is affixed hanging rope.
