Charcoal on paper
A charcoal drawing on paper, titled Abstracted Torso (Standing Nude). The work is accompanied by a notarized letter of authenticity stating the work is an original by well listed artist Kenneth M. Adams (1897 – 1966), attributed by the artist’s wife. This drawing depicts a nude female figure posed in slight profile, who stands with both hands on her hips. The form is rendered with indications of Cubist-inspired geometric shapes reinforced with shading. The drawing is presented under glass beneath a purple mat in a black wooden frame. To the verso is affixed hanging wire.
Condition
- minor wear to frame finish; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; light wrinkling.
