Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Tableware
Item Details
A collection of porcelain tableware. The majority of the pieces were made in China with painted patterns. The featured pieces are in a body known colloquially are the ‘Rice’ due to the areas of special translucency appearing like grains of rice in the porcelain body. The teapot and the bowls are in this body. There are also a group of nesting bowls and a printed bowl with a spoon. A Japanese sake’ decanter and cups are also included. Marks including ‘China’ can be found on the underside.
