Item Details
An Ethan Allen upholstered arm chair and Knob Creek chest of drawers. The chest can be used as a side table or night stand. The top is beveled with a curved indention to the center. The four drawers have machine-cut dovetail construction, and brass bail pulls and round back plates. The sides have brass bail pulls with escutcheon style back plates. The base is beveled with bracket feet. The chest is marked to the left inside of the top drawer. Knob Creek is a trademark of Ethan Allen Incorporated of Danbury, Connecticut. The exposed wood arm chair features a dark wood frame, scallop crest rail. curved shoulders, upholstered button back, upholstered arm rest, turned wood hand rests and arm supports, upholstered seat with a removable cushion, turned front legs with pad feet, saber back legs, and a box stretcher. The chair is upholstered in a gray and ivory ridged pinstripe and made by Ethan Allen for Leugers Fine Furniture, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Condition
The furniture is sturdy and in good condition. The chair upholstery needs cleaned or replaced. Both pieces have some finish scuffs and nicks.
