A set of two English brass rubbings from medieval tomb brasses the Church of Saint Andrew in Chinnor, Oxfordshire. Depicted are Sir Esmour de Malyns and his wife Isabel from a circa 1380s grave site. Each is depicted in a palette of golden brown against black and adhered to a wooden panel with a sawtooth hanger to the verso. One panel includes a note to the verso with information about the subjects.

Condition

- paper is peeling from lower left of knight image; staining to verso of each; minor surface wear to each.
