Antique Oak Nightstand by The Pentwater Bedstead Company

Item Details

An antique oak nightstand by The Pentwater Bedstead Company, circa late 19th to early 20th century. The case features a rectangular top above two stacked, machine-dovetailed drawers over a cabinet door. The drawer fronts are fitted with brass tone handles with embossed, scrolled-foliate backplates and the door is applied with a foliate molding. The back retains a partial label marked ‘… Bedstead Co. / Pentwater, Mich.’ and the nightstand rises on a molded base.

Condition

- scratches and chips in wood; missing handle on bottom cabinet door; square cut taken out of left back corner on top of nightstand; round metal piece applied to bottom of the backing.
