V. Vinetini Still Life Oil Painting on Paperboard of Chrysanthemums
Item Details
An oil painting on paperboard by artist V. Vinetini. The still life piece depicts an assortment of colorful chrysanthemums in full bloom, rendered in hues of yellow, fuchsia, cream, pink and orange and set against a shadowy background. The work is signed in burgundy paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a decorative wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- surface wear and craquelure to canvas, with paint loss at edges and left side; significant surface wear to frame with many areas of chipped ornamentation to the front; wear to verso; item would benefit from cleaning.
