Hand-Colored Aquatint Etching After William John Huggins' "The Wellington"

A hand-colored aquatint etching on paper after an original painting by very well-listed British maritime painter William John Huggins (1781 – 1845), titled The Wellington. The print was created by American printmaker C. Rosenburgh (1890 – 1983) and depicts a large three-masted schooner sailing across a choppy body of water. The print’s title and artists’ names are printed to the lower margin. The print is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frames with hooks for a hanging wire to the verso.
