A mid-century oil painting on canvas by German artist W.J. Blokesch. The piece, titled Hochmoor Bei Oberstdorf, depicts a peaceful autumn landscape set against a Bavarian Alpine background. A small unmanned rowboat is shown gently floating in a tree-lined lake to the foreground. The work is signed ‘Blokesch W.J., München’ in brown paint to the lower left. It is presented without glass in a gold tone wooden frame with a hanging tab to the verso.
