A vintage painting on canvas by Neves. The piece, rendered in vibrant hues and naive style, depicts a man in blue clothing looking to the ground as an older man in formal attire approaches. The figures are shown standing on a deep blue road that resembles flowing water, set against a backdrop of brightly colored red and yellow windowless walls. The work is signed in brown paint to the lower left. It is presented without glass in an off-white wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. The piece is painted on the back of a used canvas, which has been largely concealed in white paint.
