A hand-knotted Persian Bijar accent rug. This wool accent rug features a hooked medallion to the center with detailed diamond and geometric herati motifs throughout the field in colors of blue, navy, yellow, orange, blush and red. The spandrels to each corner showcase floral sprays and vine details that accent the field. Surrounding the main turtle border is a floral meander guard border in the field colors. It has overcast edges and fine coton warp fringe to each end. Unmarked.
