A watercolor and gouache painting on silk. The landscape piece depicts a Southeast Asian rice paddy lined with huts and palms, as figures walk among the terraced fields. The work is signed in white paint to the lower left; however, no clear artist attribution could be made. It is presented under glass in a black and gold tone bamboo-motif wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- minor surface wear to frame finish; frame glass would benefit from cleaning.
