Kentucky University Basketball Memorabilia Including Autographed Team Calendar and Photos
Item Details
A collection of vintage University of Kentucky basketball sports memorabilia including signed posters, and offset lithograph and autographed calendars and photos. Included is a rare offset lithograph titled Kentucky Heroes, circa 1970s after Mark C. Wiedmer watercolor and features some of the great coaches and athletes during that time of the University of Kentucky, including Adolph Rupp, Joe B. Hall, Fran Curci, Caywood Ledford, Jack Givens, Rick Robey and Dan Issel. The print is numbered 1133/1500 and signed by the artist in the lower right. Also included are three UK calendars from 1983-1984, 1987-1988 and 1991-1992. The most recent calendar is autographed by Richie Farmer, John Pelphrey, Sean Woods and Devon Feldhause, also known as ‘The Unforgettables.’ The calendars are joined by one vintage UK poster commemorating the teams 1978 NCAA Championship, two autographed team posters and one official program from The University of Kentucky Intra-Squad Basketball Game held at Regents Hall on November 18, 1977.
