Offset Lithographs on Paper After Illustrations of Herbs
Item Details
A selection of offset lithographs on paper after illustrations of herbs. These three prints depict central flowering buds of the herbs thyme, sage and fennel, which are presented on slender stems against a toned background. To the lower right corner is a printed inscription of the name of each herb. The prints are presented under glass beneath a dual-layered mat with a gold tone and black beaded liner. This is placed in a gold tone wooden frame with sawtooth hangers and framing stickers affixed to the verso.
Condition
- small smudge under glass to upper right portion of sage print; thread under glass of thyme print; finish worn away along upper edge and lower inner edge.
Dimensions
- measures one frame; visible image measures: 3.50" W x 4.50" H; each print measures approximately identical.
