A stone lithograph on paper by listed artist William Gropper (1897 – 1977), titled The Liberated Village. This print depicts a family carrying slung belongings while standing before a posted notice sign which fronts a dilapidated village. To the lower right corner of the composition is an in plate signature. Found to the lower margins is a handwritten artist signature and title.

- torn edges; lower right corner is worn and folded; discoloration to print.
