An original hand-carved wooden Madonna portrait on panel with marquetry inlay. The portrait is rendered from holly wood, the base from walnut and the frame from maple. The carving is protected behind glass; the frame is equipped to hang. A maker’s stamp is inked to verso, reading ‘A. Carince & Co. Handcraft Studio’.
